Emad Al Natsheh is a master artisan and co-owner of the renowned Hebron Glass and Ceramics Factory in the West Bank. He is part of a multi-generational Palestinian family that has kept the ancient, 300-year-old Phoenician free-blowing glass technique alive in Hebron. STIC member Dianne Roe will introduce Emad and give some background of the situation in Hebron Al Khalil today.
On March 8, STIC met and listened to and participated in a talk by Al Hajj Jamal Abdul-Malik held both remotely and at the Chemung County Democratic Headquarters in Elmira, N.Y.
Al Hajj Jamal Abdul-Malik was born and raised in Elmira NY as a 5th generation member of the Wilbur J. and Beatrice Reid family.
