During our Plastics Pollution webinar in October 2021, audience members requested an event at which solutions are discussed. And so . . . this webinar!
It features Diane Cohen discussing the successful community-enriching (not corporations-enriching!) effort she started in 2007. Diane started the nonprofit Fingers Lakes ReUse with the goals of reducing waste, relieving poverty, and teaching job skills through reuse and repair activities. She has jam-packed this inspiring webinar with remarkable stories and practical information, and she even offers templates for other communities to replicate such centers. Diane is introduced by System Change Not Climate Change member Maura Stephens. The webinar took place on 22 January 2022.
